but it is more complicated than you think.
In fact... you may just make it worse than it was.

We use particular techniques and products and tools to treat your acne
that you probably don't have at home and that would be too expensive
for you to purchase for just one person's use.

high frequency, and ozone treatments to kill the Propion Acnes Bacterium.

red light therapy, and microcurrent treatments.










Acne Facial (Student notes)

ROOM PREPARATION - Set out necessary products. Get towels wet with HOT water in shampoo bowl, ring out excess and roll them and place them in the towel warmer to keep them hot. Cover the bed with bed liner.

CLIENT PREPARATION - Have client remove contact lenses (optional) and jewelry. Do a paraffin hand dip and place their hands in mitts. Let them position themselves on the bed, and protect their hair with a turban. Place a towel over their chest to protect clothing. Offer lip balm or mind for a "special treatment".

CLEANSING - Remove eye make-up with eye makeup remover pads. Rinse eye area. Use cotton swab to remove excess mascara.
Apply PharmaClear Anti-bacterial cleanser   to the face, neck and decolletes and gently cleanse with the light touch of the spinning cleansing brush. Remove with moist cotton pads or hot towel.

ANALYSIS - Examine face with Wood's lamp  and a magnifying lamp (loupe) to determine skin condition and areas of concentration.

EXFOLIATION - Apply eye pads. Apply 1/2 Pharmagel Ex-Cell and 1/2 HydrO2xy-10 to face and throat. Gently massage with facial brush for 3 minutes, then use the ultrasonic derma-probe and exfoliate under steam for 7 minutes. Remove product thoroughly with warm pads. After scrubbing, apply a warm towel and allow it to cool for 3-5 minutes.

EXTRACTION - Rotate galvanic current on negative (disincrustation) for 5 minutes. Perform extractions wearing gloves and then use the high frequency electrode for 5 minutes. Steam with ozone for 5 minutes. Rotate galvanic on positive with lemon juice or Beta-C to close the pores. Wear gloves for the remainder of the facial.

MASK - Apply mask and let it set for 10 minutes. Massage the neck and shoulders at this time. Remove mask with a warm towel.

TONE - Spray or swipe on a toner.

TREATMENT - Apply a small amount of PharmaClear Acne Treatment  to blemishes.

MOISTURIZE - Apply PharmaClear Medicated Moisturizer  to face and neck.

CLOSE - Remove towel from chest, turban from head and paraffin mitts from hands. Ask client if they would like a cool glass of water and answer questions and recommend products or treatments.

CHECK OUT - Enter client in the computer, fill out a ticket, and enter notes.

CLEAN UP -  Remove used towels, remove paper from table, and put away products. Move your machine out of the room.
